Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use Pixyro (pixyro.com). Pixyro is operated by Mohamed Fouad.

Your files stay in your browser

Pixyro's tools (compressing, resizing, cropping and converting images, and creating PDFs) process your files in your web browser, on your own device. The images you choose and the files Pixyro creates from them are not uploaded to Pixyro's servers to be processed.

  • When you open a tool, your browser downloads the code it needs from pixyro.com. For HEIC (iPhone) photos, this includes Pixyro's HEIC decoder, which is downloaded the first time you use a HEIC file. These downloads contain no information about your files.
  • Photo metadata such as location (GPS) and camera details is not copied into the images and PDFs Pixyro creates.
  • Your files are not stored by Pixyro. Closing or reloading the page discards them.

Information collected when you visit

Like any website, pixyro.com is delivered by a hosting provider, which may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Pixyro itself doesn't set cookies. When analytics is active (below), Google Analytics sets cookies and Firebase stores an identifier in your browser's storage.

Analytics

Pixyro uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4), provided by Google, to understand how its tools are used: for example, which tools are popular, whether they work, and how visitors find Pixyro. This helps improve the tools and keep them free.

When analytics is active, it can collect:

  • the pages you visit, the page you came from and how you found Pixyro (for example, a search engine);
  • your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language, and an approximate location (such as country or city) that Google derives from your IP address;
  • how tools were used: the tool, the image format, the number of files, file sizes in bytes, the chosen settings, how long processing took, whether it succeeded, and error types;
  • a random identifier stored in a cookie (such as _ga) and in your browser's storage, so repeat visits can be counted.

Google processes this information under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Pixyro has turned off Google signals and ad personalisation for its analytics.

Your choices: analytics only starts if you agree to it. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Pixyro's tools are built so that analytics can only receive information about how a tool was used, such as the tool, the image format, the number of files, file sizes in bytes, the chosen settings, how long processing took and error types. Analytics never receives your files, their contents, their names, image or PDF data, or photo metadata such as location.

Advertising

Pixyro does not currently show ads. It plans to keep its tools free by showing ads, for example through Google AdSense. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies, subject to your choices where the law requires. Before ads are introduced, this policy will be updated to name the provider and explain how to manage your choices. Ad providers will not receive your files or their contents from Pixyro.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information about you, such as asking what is held or asking for it to be deleted. Because Pixyro doesn't receive your files, it holds no copies of them. For any privacy question or request, contact devmfouad@gmail.com.

Children

Pixyro is a general-purpose tool site and is not directed at children.

Changes
